Description

Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park contains and protects four miles of coastline along the Gulf of Mexico in western Pasco County. This salt spring is home to many different types of unique wildlife including the gray fox, gopher tortoises, West Indian manatees and alligators. Birdwatching is also a popular pastime here. Picnicking, boating, fishing and hiking are all accepted activities at the Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park. There is a simple hiking trail on the property-- it begins at the picnic area. More hiking trails and camping areas are to come in the near future.

Directions

The Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park entrance is located at the end of Cinema Drive along Scenic Drive. Turn west off US 19 onto Cinema Drive, park entrance is approx 2/10ths of a mile.
